WANTED: Newly Engaged couples with a sense of adventure and who are comfortable enough to be affectionate in front of the camera.

I’m looking for new couples who want some unique engagement photos and are happy to get dirty, sandy, wet and be a little adventurous for some cool photos.

This offer is good for only 8 couples who are happy for me to use their photos on my new website and are willing to let me experiment with some new ideas.

These engagement sessions are totally free! Yep, seriously… free. I’ll even throw in a print from the shoot. You will have the opportunity to purchase more photos if you like.

Welcome to Mike Semple Photography and thanks for stopping by.

I am about capturing human connections in a way that tells a story, because we all have stories to share. The heart of every story is the emotive connection between people, with the focus being on love and laughter. This is what I set out to portray in my imagery so that we as the observers get a stronger sense of who they are through the images captured.

The most important part of the story is you. I love getting to know you and find out about your story. I want you to feel at ease with me so that you can be you and I can give you images that best tell your story.
Since starting my business nearly 20 years ago I still get excited that get to capture peoples stories where ever they take me.

I feel blessed everyday to be surrounded by my wife of 12 years and 4 kids who I love and adore more than anything, and really feel like I am living the dream. You will usually find me hanging out at home working on some project in the backyard or having a wine and watching endless series on Netflix, when I’m not capturing other peoples stories

Mike has made all our wedding photo dreams come true and more! He is professional yet so easy to get along with and makes the whole day fun and stress free. I've been trying to think or the best way to tell you all how amazed, happy, stoked, gobsmacked, excited to print, show everyone, savour the precious memories that he captured so well but there aren't enough describing words! We actually cannot thank him enough for his hard work dedication and skill. He is awesome!

Mike was so personable and professional. We looked at some photos on his website from weddings at Immerse and other venues and knew in an instant this was the style we wanted and with someone that understood us as a couple and the sort of wedding day we were dreaming of. We booked our wedding for December 27th 2015 at Immerse in the Yarra Valley. In the lead up to the wedding Mike took the time to listen to the different photos we were after and get a feel of what he wanted our wedding to look like and the special images we wanted capture. Both Mike and his assistant were amazing on our wedding day, we even had guests commenting on how great the photos were and what a nice guy he was and that you didn’t feel like he was ‘that photographer’ that he just blended into the wedding and capture the best photos. We received over 800 incredible, breath taking photos from our wedding. We had a mix of ‘in the moment’ photos that captured the raw emotion, to the staged photos and photos of all of our guests. We got every photo we dreamed of. Mike met with the boys to begin the day out at Immerse and they got a range of photos in the vineyards and my husband had photos with his family. He then came back out to my house in Greensborough and took photos of me, my bridal party and my family. The photos Mike and his assistant captured of us walking down the aisle and meeting for the first time on our wedding day are some of my favourites. To the day we still get comments on how beautifully captured our wedding day was, we have our photos proudly presented in our home on canvas’ and frames. We always high recommend Mike Semple Photography! Thank you Mike!

I was so ecstatic that Mike was available for our wedding having chatted to him and seen his work a few years earlier at a wedding show. So what can you expect on the day? Not just a photographer but a genuine, sincere yet lighthearted and funny character who feels like part of the family. Mike went above and beyond any photographers role (fixing a boutonniere, organising my champagne, ensuring I was looked after to name a few things) and I am so grateful for his every attention to detail. His calm yet charismatic approach really helped lower the stress levels!!! My parents even commented on his approach to his work and how likable he is. And the photo's? Absolutely stunning! In the words of my father " Mike didn't miss a beat". My partner and I would like to thank Mike for his hard work and his sensational creative eye!

Dave and I could not be happier that we found you to capture the amazing moments for our special day. You made it so relaxing and fun for Dave, myself and our bridal party, it was such a fun day. (especially the ice cream) We cant thank you guys enough for all the hard work you both did, snapping away all day and into the night. We had so many comments from our family and friends that you did a wonderful job and were very fun and friendly. Dave and I absolutely LOVE our photos, we couldn't be happier.

How are you?
Sorry I haven't touched base sooner, we've been crazy busy since the wedding. I'm trying to catch up on thanking all those who helped make our day so perfect! A HUGE thank you to yourself and Natalie! You guys were flat out all day and night snapping away, many people made comments about what a great job you guys did at photographing no just us, but the rest of the guests too. People loved the photo booth too. We are all super excited to see the pics!! Thanks for also being patient while the girls and I were still getting ready when you guys arrived and for helping with my dress, swiss army knife and all ;) We had such an incredible day and cannot thank you enough for being a very important part of it

Wow I can't believe it's all over! Now we have had time to reflect we wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so glad we found you! (gee it must be nearly 2 years ago now) We knew straight away it has to be you to photograph the most important day of our lives!!! and we had so much fun! We always loved coming out for a catch up, seeing your beautiful family & just laughing and smiling.
